Default Farming Charr

i made a Warrior to go farming char in pre searing

i thought W/Mo would be a good choice..but ive seen alot of W/R about, and have farmed with them..they use a bow and a pet..pet tanks, use to bow kill..

did i make a mistake by going /Mo..or can W/mo farm char?

and why not make a R/W to farm if they using a bow?

^ Pets ARE for tanks

Yes, I would restart, being W/Mo is useless in pre searing, where are u gonna get the energy to even do some healing on a warrior? W/Mo's in post use Healing Hands etc, skills that actually heal alot for little energy, so being W/Mo is pointless in pre!

Now the reason why they go W/R is: They use the "Nevermore Flatbow" from Collecters Edition Prophecies which basicly enables u to 2-3 Hit charr (even the bosses), so they won't need any energy at all to attack, meaning being R/W would give you "too" much energy, since Your regular attacks do more then enough dmg, so might as well go W/R for the same output dmg, and like 4 times the armor of a ranger... The pet is there for tank AND cuz it's no energy, which is the 3th reason why the're W/R: Troll Unguent takes only 5 Energy to use...

So basicly: If u have collecters edition, be W/R, if u don't, I would still suggest W/R, becuz of the pet and troll unguent, but then just use a regular sword/axe/hammer...

By the time you get to level 13 or 14 you can pretty much solo all the charr in the Northlands regardless of profession.

I have a warrior/ranger, and so far I'm having a lot of success with it.

As others have said about the nevermore flatbow... Even if you don't have the special edition you should still go W/R. I used 4 skills to solo pretty much all of the Northlands.

Sever Artery
Gash
Heal Sig
Troll Uguent

Basically letting the enemy bleed to death, throwing a gash in here and there to speed up the process. Keep troll unguent up as much as you can and heal sig when your health drops to about 70%. You could probably chuck charm and comfort animal in there, just to help take some damage if it's not working out for you.

Not in pre-searing.
W/R gets a pet, which is rezzable so they just use that to soak up damage
